The Merriam-Webster’s dictionary defines foolhardy as “foolishly adventurous and bold”. The average Christian is judged as foolhardy because the unredeemed man cannot grasp that life is spiritual and that the Christian is connected with the source of all life. Every man is adventurous by the strength of his convictions and to degree of the information available to him. With this, let me introduce the focal point of this prose which is about “living led.”

We humans naturally like to account for events before they happen and we oftentimes get very worried when things don’t seem to go our way. The reason we get worried is because we were designed to know and that is very God-like (Pro 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.). It is however very possible to live a worry-free life; we can have the answers to the questions of life and it is because as Christians, we have a relationship with the custodian of all wisdom. We must understand that God very is very real and is the only one who knows all things about us and our purposes. He will not lead us astray because He is in love with us and he actually knows all things.

The world will think you are reckless with life but little did they know that you have first hand information about how to tame the storms of life because you are living with the holy ghost. Christians are considered very careless and quite accurately put foolish (1 Co 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men). It is possible to know where to invest your money without relying solely on the stock market. It is possible to know exactly where to study for during exams (I am a living witness to this). It is possible to know whom to marry without going on dating trials. It is possible to live unbothered

I have come to understand that there are two ways to live life; either through experience or through revelation- Bishop T.D Jakes.

Experience is a good teacher, the Holy Spirit however, is the best teacher. It might seem reckless when He directs you (but worth the while and more so, very fun!😊 ). Being a foolhardy explorer, doesn’t mean that you will always understand what He is leading you through, but you will have assurance that you will not be led astray. It begins with having and maintaining faith in Him. I need you to understand that faith in God is probably the most reckless thing you will do that will bring tremendous results and great peace. Faith in God is the secret adventures of the righteous. It is the Journey and the destination.

Being a foolhardy with God, is you simply throwing caution to the wind knowing fully well that the Holy Spirit is the wind. Want to learn how to really live? Hear what Jesus said… Mat 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I am tired of trusting in failed systems and in men. I put my trust in you. I know you love me, so lead me. Amen.
