God is not to blame

In times of trials and tribulations when we experience great maladies and seeming setbacks, we often look to blaming everything. It is rather saddening that the first person we ‘Christians’ blame is God (our father) The Berean in us might slant into becoming a Sadducee. But really, is God to blame?
Psalms 100:5 (AMP) For the Lord is good; His mercy and loving-kindness are everlasting, His faithfulness and truth endure to all generations.
When I got born again, I knew within me that God had his eyes on me day in, day out. But, I also thought God was responsible for everything that happened to me. I believed that with God, I wasn’t supposed to go through serious challenges. Life seemed unbearable. I was studying a course I did not want, a lady Just broke my heart, my family was quite dysfunctional, I failed exams, I was broke amongst other discouraging things. Every time I prayed, I would always lament, complain and many times blame God for all the things that were happening to me and my family. I remember one night when I told God to come down and fight me and I waited in the rain all night for the contest. Many days and weeks passed and I didn’t seem to get an answer from God. There was however a subtle assurance that everything was going to be alright.
As I grew in the faith chiefly by studying the bible(particularly the psalms), I learned quite some things about God. Firstly, that God was not to blame for the bad happening in the world, however, and that God is and has always and will ever be good! This helped my communication with Abba.
I also got to understand through scriptures that God honors his word even above his name (office as God).
Psalms 138:2 (AMP) I will worship toward Your holy temple and praise Your name for Your loving-kindness and Your truth and faithfulness; for You have exalted above all else Your name and Your word and You have magnified Your word above all Your name!
Having established that the lord has respect for the laws he set in place and even subjected himself to them according to the scriptures, you would then realize that God is not in charge of the earth. Look at what the bible says…
Psalms 115:16 (AMP) The heavens are the Lord’s heavens, but the earth has He given to the children of men.
In the garden of Eden, when the devil tempted man and they fell, in the consequence of the fall, they relinquished their right to rule over the earth. Now, the devil is the god of this world (system)
2Corinthians 4:4(NLT) Satan, the god of this evil world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe, so they are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News that is shining upon them. They don’t understand the message we preach about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.
When Jesus, however, came to redeem man, through his death, to redeem man, through his death, burial, and resurrection, Man was yet again presented with the opportunity to rule over the world systems. We need to understand the part we play in making the world a better place. It starts by taking sides with God and then understanding the authority we carry.
Col 1:18 He also is the Head of [His] body, the church; seeing He is the Beginning, the Firstborn from among the dead so that He alone in everything and every respect might occupy the chief place [stand first and be preeminent].
So you may ask, why do bad things happen to good people? The real answer to the unasked question is. Bad things happen; good things happen. Man is the crucible of the happenings; evil when yielded to the devil, divine, when yielded to God. I speak before this honorable court that God is not to blame.
